Doxa began their maritime journey in the 1960s, becoming one the most innovative watchmakers of dive watches. They dived in head first, releasing the iconic DOXA SUB 300 in 1967, which became one of the first diver’s watches for wide public use. Continuing this celebrated legacy, the SUB 200 C-GRAPH is a traditional model that came as a new addition to the Doxa lineup in 2020, as an elegant chronograph watch. Inheriting designs from other successful Doxa watches like the SUB 300T-Graph, the SUB 200 C-GRAPH best captures Doxa’s goal of providing functional and aesthetically pleasing watches.
The SUB 200 C-GRAPH is a collection of comparatively more elegant watches with a case of diameter 45mm and 316L stainless steel construction. The watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel with clean, prominent markings on the scale. The caseback and the crown, both engraved with the Doxa “Jenny” fish logo, are screwed down to ensure water resistance up to 200m or 20ATM. Doxa offer the SUB 200 C-GRAPH in six different vibrant dial options like Aquamarine, black, yellow, orange, dark blue, and silver tones, serving a variety of preferences from bold and colourful to more traditional aesthetics. The clean and symmetrical design of the SUB 200 C-GRAPH emphasises simplicity and elegance, appealing directly to purist watch enthusiasts.
The SUB 200 C-GRAPH watch collection is powered by an automatic chronograph movement derived from the Sellita SW510, which is a tri-complex variant based on the Valjoux 7750 clone by Sellita. This robust cam-operated chronograph features a horizontal configuration of the sub-counters on the dial. It operates at 4Hz and offers a power reserve of 56 hours when fully wound. It includes a stop-second mechanism for precise time setting.
